EPISODE K-406 L.I.P. (LOCAL INDIGENOUS PERSONNEL) - by Carl Kleinschmitt Corporal Phil Walker asks Hawkeye to look at a Korean baby. Hawkeye diagnoses colic while learning that Phil is the father. Walker wants Hawkeye to help him take the baby and its mother, Kim, to the States. They aren't officially married, although Kim thinks the cook married them. Hawkeye promises to start the paperwork rolling. Later, as Hawkeye prepares for a date with Regina, a new nurse, Lt. Willis arrives to question Hawkeye about Walker. Hawkeye tries to put him off, but Willis says its now or never. Hawkeye invites Willis to the Swamp and downing one drink after another. Willis asks Hawkeye about Kim, but reveals more of his own feelings. He believes all Korean girls are on the make for U.S. servicemen. Willis passes out cold and Hawkeye and Trapper lay him on a cot in his skivvies. All evidence suggests that he has had a good time with the nurses. Hawkeye and Trapper even claim to have pictures. Willis signs the forms permitting Walker to mary Kim. Hawkeye keeps his date with Regina but is disappointed to learn she's a bigot and doesn't approve of mixed marriages. Father Mulcahy marries Walker and Kim. Hawkeye, the best man, holds the baby. Trapper, Blake and Radar are the witnesses and Klinger, the bridesmaid, catches the bouquet.
