EPISODE K-415 OFFICERS ONLY - by Ed Jurist Hawkeye is summoned to the O.R to operate on a soldier with a chest wound. Henry tells him he's operating on General Mitchell's son. Hawkeye is not impressed, but Frank Burns is. He tells Hot Lips, who insists that Frank should be assisting. Frank and Trapper argue, but Hawkeye clears the O.R of everyone but Trapper. Klinger explains his latest ruse to get out of the army: the pregnant look. General Mitchell arrives to visit his son and finds Hot Lips and Frank at the boy's bedside. Henry tells the General that Hawkeye and Trapper operated. The General gives them three days in Tokyo, which they enjoy so much that MPs must escort them back to M*A*S*H. While they were gone, General Mitchell had an Officer's club installed, complete with juke box, slot machine and bartender. But the club is for officers only. This alienates the enlisted men, who suddenly get very "army." Henry refuses to take down the sign, but will do so if the majority of officers will agree. Hot Lips and Frank refuse, so there must be another way. A few days later, Trapper brings General Mitchell's son to meet him at the Officer's Club. The General invites the boy to join him, but he is unable to since he is an enlisted man. Hawkeye suggests that relatives be the exception. When everyone agrees, he invites his own relatives: Radar, Klinger and others.
