HENRY IN LOVE - by Larry Gelbart and Laurence Marks

Henry Blake returns from a trip to Tokyo, much to the relief of Hawkeye and Trapper, who have not enjoyed Frank's temporary command. But the duo are worried about Henry's announcement that he's in love with a twenty-year-old civilian clerk he met in Tokyo, Nancy Sue Parker. When Hawkeye and Trapper remind him that he's married, Henry says this is the real thing. Nancy Sue is coming for a weekend visit. During the week, Henry dyes his hair and jogs, anything to look younger. Nancy Sue arrives and is young and shapely, but her youthful enthusiasm soon gets nauseating. Henry, however, is enchanted. He introduces her to Frank and Hot Lips at the Officer's Club. They are polite but cool. not wanting to give the impression that they approve of a married man fooling around. When Henry is called to surgery, Nancy Sue is left in Hawkeye's care. He escorts her to her tent where she makes a play for him. After leaving Nancy Sue, Hawkeye runs into Trapper and learns Henry is on the phone with his wife. After finishing the call, it's clear Henry is still very much in love with his wife. Hawkeye and Trapper are glad the crisis is over and Henry thanks Radar for placing the call. The next day, Henry sends Nancy Sue on her way, glad she's gone.
