EPISODE B-309 THERE IS NOTHING LIKE A NURSE - by Larry Gelbart The threat of an enemy parachute drop obliges the 4077th to evacuate patients and nurses to another unit where they'll be safer. Frank parts tenderly with Hot Lips, giving her an envelope with a lock of his hair to remember him by. Trapper and Hawkeye say good-bye to their favorite nurses. At the same time, Klinger tries another escape attempt by hiding in a duffel bag. Once the nurses have left, Frank supervises the digging of fox holes. The others, including Radar and Mulcahy, must double as nurses. Hawkeye and Trapper hide under a desk while Frank calls Hot Lips and says he’ll kill her if she looks at another doctor. When Frank discovers Hawkeye and Trapper, he chases them until he falls into a fox hole. Hawkeye parks a jeep on top of the fox hole and then he and Trapper watch a film of Frank's wedding, just for laughs. As the bride and groom are ready to depart, she gets behind the wheel of the car and won’t budge when Frank wants her to move over so he can drive. Frank escapes from the fox hole and signals a plane is approaching camp. It turns out to be 5 O'clock Charlie and he's dropping propaganda leaflets. Soon, the nurses return and the O.R. gets back to normal. Hawkeye insults Frank and Hot Lips protests while Henry remonstrates. Now they can all get back to work.
