EPISODE G-505 DEAR MILDRED - by Everett Greenbaum and Jim Fritzell Potter writes a letter to his wife for their anniversary. Radar hears of a wounded horse that's been spotted by a helicopter pilot. He protests any thought of shooting the horse. Potter continues the letter writing about Mulcahy, the surprise priest who performed an impromptu duet with a nurse when the film broke. Radar and Hawkeye, guided by the pilot, find the horse, who has shrapnel in its hip. B.J. and Hawkeye think they can handle it and take the horse back to camp. Frank and Hot Lips have a bust made of Potter to commemorate his anniversary. They take it to Potter to find it's a good likeness only Cho, the artist, gives Potter his own oriental eyes. B.J. and Hawkeye regret they don't have a gift, but Radar has one. It's the horse they have rescued. Potter is touched and blows his nose into a handkerchief. He doesn't even mind when the horse has an accident on his floor. CAST Hawkeye Pierce Alan Alda B.J. Hunnicut Mike Farrell Col.
