Hawkeye drives Radar at breakneck speed to the airport to find Trapper's plane has gone. They pick up his replacement, the tall, good natured B.J. and while their backs are turned, their Jeep is stolen. Luckily Hawkeye spots a General's Jeep and taking it as a sign from heaven, removes the General's flag and has Radar drive off. B.J. learns the new C.O.'s name is Frank Burns, a.k.a. Ferret Face. On the road they see a farmer send two of his daughters into a field to see if there are any land mines in the field he wants to farm. One of the mines explodes injuring one of the girls. They take her to the nearest hospital, then get back on the road where they run into a small battle. They stop and give medical aid. Before arriving in camp they stop at Rosie's. B.J. is under the influence by the time he meets Frank who he greets as Ferret Face. CAST Hawkeye Pierce Alan Alda B.J. Hunnicut Mike Farrell Col.
