EPISODE G-513 QUO VADIS, CAPTAIN CHANDLER - by Burt Prelutsky A wounded soldier tells Radar his name is Jesus Christ and Radar can find no other identification for him. Hawkeye and Mulcahy gently question him, but get the same answer. Hot Lips and Frank take the matter up with Potter who takes it very coolly. Frank sends for Col. Flagg of Intelligence. He arrives with the wounded man's name, rank and serial number. He's Capt. Chandler. Flagg tells them Chandler is trying to get out of military duty. He's not going to let him get away with anything and wants to know how soon Chandler can be sent back into action. Hawkeye and B.J. send for psychiatrist Major Sidney Freedman. Flagg is furious and takes out his wrath on Klinger who he orders to get into uniform. He tells Chandler he's a bombardier with over fifty missions. That shocks Chandler. He dropped bombs on people? Freedman tells Potter that Chandler is a victim of the war. After two years of dropping bombs he lost the man who was a killer and told himself he was Christ, who loves everyone. He thinks Chandler has had all he can take. Flagg is furious. He runs into Klinger in uniform as ordered, a Girl Scout uniform. Radar takes his teddy bear to Chandler - to bless just in case. Klinger has an idea. He turns up in a toga, white hair and beard, carrying two boards nailed together. He's Moses. CAST Hawkeye Pierce Alan Alda B.J. Hunnicut Mike Farrell Col.
